Careers & the Gatsby Benchmarks
Careers provision built around the eight Gatsby Benchmarks — helping young people see where they could go and how to get there.
Careers guidance that meets the standard
Good careers education changes the way young people see their future — and the eight Gatsby Benchmarks set the national standard for what good looks like. PET-Xi careers provision is designed to help schools strengthen their offer against that framework, with engaging, practical sessions that bring careers, employability and the world of work to life for students.
The Gatsby Benchmarks cover everything from a stable careers programme and learning from career and labour market information to encounters with employers, experiences of workplaces and personal guidance. Our provision is designed to support delivery across these areas.
How it works
We work with your school to understand where your careers programme is strong and where the gaps are, then deliver sessions that complement your existing CEIAG plan rather than duplicate it.
[CONTENT TO SUPPLY: the specific careers activities, workshops or sessions PET-Xi delivers, which year groups they suit, and how delivery maps to each relevant Gatsby Benchmark.]
Who it’s for
Careers provision suits secondary schools and colleges looking to enrich their careers offer and evidence progress against the benchmarks.
[CONTENT TO SUPPLY: age ranges and any eligibility, funding or commissioning details for PET-Xi’s careers provision.]
What you can expect
PET-Xi delivers engaging, high-energy sessions that get young people thinking seriously about their options and their next steps — practical, motivating and grounded in the world of work.
[CONTENT TO SUPPLY: any verified outcomes, employer partnerships or case studies — do not publish specific claims without evidence.]
